1.1 In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests, the organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission.
1.2 Upon booking your ticket(s) you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. You will be emailed a Booking Confirmation. This is NOT your ticket. E-tickets will be emailed in June.
1.3 No admission without a valid e-ticket.
1.4 All ticket types are non- transferrable.
1.6 All tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled. For the avoidance of any doubt, this includes deposits or instalment payments paid towards split payment tickets.
1.7 Tickets are in the form of barcodes and will be scanned in upon entry; once a barcode has been scanned and swapped for a wristband it cannot be used again.
1.8 The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same barcode will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, the organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. Do not post images of your barcode on social media.
1.8 Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The organisers and Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.
1.10 Do not buy tickets from other third party sources, as we cannot ensure these tickets are genuine. Invalid or duplicate barcodes will not be allowed entry into the festival site.
1.11 The name on your ticket must match your ID. You can update names within your Ticket Sellers account a maximum of two times. If you purchase a ticket from a friend, you must ensure that they update the name on the ticket.
1.12 In the event of cancellation of the festival, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded and not the booking fee.
1.13 Wristbands removed from the wrist, tampered with, lost or missing will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Those without valid wristbands will be removed from the site. All wristbands issued by Boomtown 2018 remain the property of Boomtown Festival UK Ltd until midday Monday 13th August 2018.
2.1 Final payments must be received no later than 4th June 2018. You can pay the balance at any time before this date by logging in to your Ticket Sellers account. Boomtown Springs ticket balances to be paid no later than 23:59 on 4th July 2018.
2.2 This agreement is not cancellable by you and all payments made by you are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation.
3.1 Boomtown runs a rigorous search operation at the gates, and you should expect to be searched on entry. This may include body/bag searches at the gates, onsite or when leaving.
3.2 Drugs dog units will be searching on gates at ALL TIMES.
3.3 Boomtown has a No Drugs Policy regarding the possession, use or sale of illegal drugs. This includes Nitrous Oxide and all other products banned under the New Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.
3.4 Boomtown has a zero tolerance policy regarding paint spray cans and marker pens.
3.5 Additional prohibited items include: knives (including locking knives); sound systems; glass bottles EXCLUDING make-up and perfume; fireworks; explosives; BBQs; smoke and gas canisters; air horns; flares; weapons or potential weapons; laser devices; unofficial drones and UAVs; sky lanterns; paraffin lamps, candles, generators, chemical toilets (except where fixed within live in vehicles), unofficial tabards, open bottles of any kind of liquid that can be consumed.
3.6 This list is not exhaustive, Boomtown reserves the right to confiscate anything that is considered dangerous, hazardous and/or illegal at our discretion. Please be aware that work tools, ladders, 2-way radios etc can be deemed a potential security breach and Boomtown reserves the right to confiscate such items on entry to the car parks or festival gates. Please check your vehicle before packing and remove any items that can present a safety or security risk.
3.7 At the search and entry point, ticket holders will be given the opportunity to give up (AMNESTY) prohibited items in their possession prior to search. Once passed the Amnesty area, any person founds in possession of a prohibited items found will have the item confiscated, and not returned, and will be refused entry or evicted.
3.8 E-cigarettes are allowed. E-cigarette liquid is only allowed if it is sealed and easily identifiable. If it can’t be identified or the seal is broken, it will be confiscated.
3.9 Camping stoves using small, disposable gas canisters are permitted. Please only bring enough for your needs over the weekend. Excessive quantities may be confiscated. In the event of very hot weather / dry ground conditions we reserve the right to prohibit the use of camping stoves for safety reasons.
3.10 Signs or materials displaying discriminatory, derogatory or offensive messages, slogans or images are not permitted.
4.1 Challenge 25 operates on all gates as well as all bars. If you have purchased an adult ticket and are fortunate enough to look under the age of the 25, you will be required to provide ID that proves your age. If you cannot provide ID that is valid and in date, you will be refused entry into the festival site.
4.2 Accepted ID includes; photographic driving license, proof of age card with PASS hologram or a passport. Photocopies will not be accepted.
4.3 Teens are the responsibility of their appointed adult at all times whilst at the festival. Whilst we do not expect older children and teenagers to be with their parent or guardian at all times, we do expect them to camp together, and for the child/teenager to know the location of their adult, and have means of contacting them, or agreed meeting points. Well-behaved children/teenagers are most welcome at Boomtown, however, we will take action to return teenagers who are considered to be intoxicated, displaying antisocial behaviour or felt to be vulnerable, to their adults, who will be informed that failure to monitor the behaviour and activities of their teens will result in both their and their teen’s eviction from site.
4.4 Unaccompanied teens (aged 13-17) will be refused entry at the gates. Accompanying adults must be 30 years old or over, must have completed the online booking form and have bought the teen ticket in advance. Teens must be accompanied by an adult on each occasion they enter and leave the festival.
4.5 Any unaccompanied child (aged 12 years and under) who is not able to locate or contact their adult will be treated as a found child and accompanied to welfare.
4.6 Any unaccompanied teen found on site who is unable to identify or locate an appointed adult over the age of 30 years onsite will be removed to the youth services tent in the Eviction Compound, where collection from site will be arranged.
4.7 A parent/guardian aged 30 or over can accompany a maximum of 2 teens.
4.8 Only persons aged 18 or over on their first day of attending Boomtown Festival (Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th August 2018) may enter the festival using an Adult ticket. Any person under the age of 18 who has purchased an Adult ticket rather than a Teen ticket will be refused entry into the festival.
4.9 Only persons aged 13-17 on their first day of attending Boomtown Festival (Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th August 2018) may enter the festival using a Teen ticket. Any person aged 18 or over who has purchased a Teen ticket rather than an Adult ticket will be refused entry into the festival.
4.10 ID checks will be carried out at the entry gates for anyone who looks under 18 years old.
4.11 Child ticket holders can only enter the festival with the parent/guardian who purchased their tickets, who is then responsible for them throughout the event. Each parent/guardian may accompany 3 children.
4.12 Child ticket holders are not permitted entry into the Downtown Areas (which include Banghai, DSTRKT 5, Diss-Order Alley, Barrio Loco and Metropolis) after 7pm. Teenage ticket holders are welcome in Downtown until 10pm, from which time Security will request under 18s to leave the area.
5.1 The artist and performer line-up and all billed attractions are subject to change at any time without notice.
5.2 Strictly no trading or other commercial activity by any ticket holder will be allowed on the festival site without the organiser’s prior written consent.
5.3 Boomtown accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third party traders.
5.4 As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed, photographed and recorded for television, feature films, radio, webcast and other public broadcast and/or for any video/DVD or by onsite CCTV cameras and recordings for safety and security purposes.
5.5 Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion whether commercial or non-commercial without prior written permission of the event organisers.
5.6 The marks, Boomtown and the Boomtown logo, are registered United Kingdom and European Community trademarks and may not be used without the express written permission of Boomtown Festival UK Ltd.
5.7 There is a limit to the amount of alcohol you can bring on site. You may bring up to:
16 x 440ml cans of lager/cider/beer OR
18 x 250ml cans of premixed spirit drinks OR
3-litre box of wine OR
7 litres of cider/lager/beer in plastic bottles or cans
Plastic or glass bottles of spirits are not allowed.
You may bring this with you on arrival to the festival only. There is NO RE-ENTRY with alcohol. The licence states that no glass is to be brought onto site for safety reasons. No opened bottles can be brought on to site – you can bring sealed plastic bottles of water or soft drinks. Any opened bottles will be confiscated on entry to the festival.
5.8 If you are arriving in a live-in vehicle, please be aware that we will not allow in any sort of unsealed container of liquid.
5.9 To protect your own safety and those of other guests, please act responsibly.
5.10 In accordance with Smoke Free Regulations, the tented arenas and other areas of the festival are designated No Smoking areas (this includes e-cigarettes). Failure to comply with these regulations and event signage may result in ejection.
5.11 If you are caught urinating or defecating in places other than a toilet, you run the risk of immediate ejection from the festival site.
5.12 Please use bins and recycling points provided.
5.13 The burning of plastics, bedding, tents, furniture is not permitted anywhere on the site and could result in criminal charges being brought against anyone caught doing so.
5.14 Boomtown is for lovely people to come and have four days of pure fun and escapism. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and anyone found acting in such a way will be immediately ejected without refund.
5.15 Strictly no animals (with the exception of assistance dogs) will be allowed on the site.
5.16 Only tents erected by the Camp Skylark organisers are permitted in the Camp Skylark Residence or Village.
5.17 Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing.
5.18 Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting and special effects may take place during some performances.
5.19 Parents are reminded that some areas of the festival, especially immediately in front of the stages, are inappropriate for children.
5.20 Boomtown reserves the right to add to or amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments will take effect when posted on the Boomtown website www.boomtownfair.co.uk. Please check the FAQ’s section regularly for changes and to ensure you have up to date information as you are bound by these terms and conditions. If you purchase a ticket after any amendment to these Terms, you agree to be bound by the updated version of these Terms.
In booking a Coach & Festival Ticket package, you agree to the following:
6.1 You must not book a coach package unless you are certain you will be able to travel on the coach you have selected.
6.2 Travel on your chosen coach is mandatory in order to receive your festival wristband.
6.3 Under no circumstance can a coach package be exchanged for a standard admission ticket, or other ticket types.
6.4 You must present your Travel Ticket AND your Festival Entry Ticket on the coach in order to be validated to receive your festival wristband on arrival at Boomtown.
6.5 You must present photo ID in order to board the coach.
7.1 Filming and Photography is allowed throughout the public site, we just ask you do it respectfully and to observe data protection law.
7.2 Anyone using cameras or filming equipment (including all mobile devices) are expected to be courteous to their fellow festival attendees and ask permission before taking any up close shots.
7.3 Please do not hold up your phones / tablets etc… for the entirety of a set, this is pretty annoying for the people behind you and we guarantee you will enjoy it so much more through your own eyes rather than a tiny little screen! And DO NOT bring selfie sticks.
7.4 Strictly no filming or photography is allowed in Kidztown or family camping unless issued with a specific Kidztown photo or media pass, (or they are your own children!) Across the rest of the public site, permission from a parent or guardian needs to be granted before photographing any children.
7.5 If you are found to be using their films / photos to make a profit onsite, your equipment may be confiscated and you run the risk of being ejected from the festival immediately.
7.6 Photographs taken at Boomtown cannot be included in any sponsored programme or in any form of advertising without specific approval.
7.7 Photography is restricted or prohibited in certain areas: family camping, children’s areas, welfare and medical areas, security and police compounds and all backstage areas.
7.8 By entering the festival site you agree to grant the Festival permission to use your image in any publicity, marketing or promotional materials.

8.1 To qualify for the draw, each entrant must follow the instructions in the specific Facebook post.
8.2 All entrants MUST be 18 years or over.
8.3 If a slogan comp, then the slogan must be submitted in the comments section on Boomtown wall.
8.4 For a ‘like’ and ‘share’ competition the entrant must ‘like’ the post and then share on his/her wall before the specified deadline
8.5 Only a ‘share’ that can be seen by Boomtown will qualify.
8.6 Each person is only entitled to one entry. (multiple likes and shares, or slogans will not increase chances of winning!)
8.7 The competition closing date is final, and no further entries after this date and time will be counted.
8.8 The winner will be contacted by a member of Boomtown staff within a 28 days of the competition closing.
8.9 The winning prize is not refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
8.10 The winner must claim the prize within 7 days and provide us with full name, email address and postal address.
8.11 The winner will be picked at random by a member of Boomtown staff.
8.12 Boomtown reserves the right to cancel this campaign and draw without prior notice.
8.13 Boomtown staff and relations are not eligible to win.
8.14 This competition is run solely by Boomtown.
9.1 Each person in the campervan must have a Festival Entry Ticket.
9.2 You must be able to fit all vehicles, towing vehicles, towbars and living space within 8m x 5m pitch. If you require a larger space than this, you may purchase two spaces.
9.3 Once your vehicle is in place, it must remain static. Anyone found moving a vehicle may be evicted from site.
9.4 No tents may be erected in the Campervan Field for fire safety reasons. There is a specific distance required between vehicles for fire safety, therefore, small awnings will be allowed provided there is sufficient space between the awning and the neighbouring pitch. If you are asked to remove your awnings by a member of staff or a fire officer we would appreciate your cooperation.
9.5 Stewards will park you in position, please follow their direction and keep fire lanes clear.
9.6 No trading is permitted from caravans or camper vans.
9.7 No sound systems are to be operated in the Campervan Field. Anyone found operating such systems may be evicted.
9.8 Compost toilets are provided in the Campervan Fields and we recommend that attendees use these toilets rather than their own chemical toilets. If you are using your own chemical toilet, please note you must take the waste away with you. There are no facilities for accepting chemical waste and it must not be poured into the compost toilets. It is illegal to pour this waste onto the ground, into a sump or stream and anyone found doing this will be evicted from site and face a fine from the Environment Agency.
9.9 Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate campervans/caravans in your preferred site, Boomtown reserves the right to provide alternative facilities in the event of adverse conditions.
9.10 All litter must be cleared from your pitch and put into bins provided or taken home with you.
9.11 Towing vehicles must fit within your pitch. You cannot park your car elsewhere.
9.12 Cars are not deemed as live-in vehicles. Only converted live-in vans, campervans, caravans or trailer tents are classes as live-in vehicles.
9.13 There is no electrical hook up and generators are not permitted on site.
9.14 Security staff patrol the Campervan Field and there is a campsite hub should you have any concerns or questions. Security reserve the right to evict persons from the Campervan Field if they do not adhere to the terms and conditions.
9.15 Smaller refillable gas canisters are permitted where installed in live in vehicles. Typically, this would be 4kg – 7kg Butane (blue bottles). Small orange propane cylinders are also permitted (up to 6kg).
10.1 If you have bought a car park ticket your pass will be posted to you. Please make sure you have updated your delivery address via your Ticketsellers account by 22nd June 2018 to ensure your pass is delivered to the correct address. Passes are sent out by trackable delivery service and must be signed for.
10.2 Your pass must be fixed to your windscreen prior to arriving at the festival site.
10.2 You must ensure the QR code is visible to allow it to be scanned on arrival.
10.3 Failure to display your car park pass may incur charges at the gate for a new pass.
10.4 Vehicles are parked entirely at owners risk.
10.5 Unless you have bought a car park pass for a specific area (such as Boomtown Springs, Meadows, Family camping) all car parking is not pre-designated and will be allocated on arrival at our discretion..
10.6 Where you have bought a car park ticket for a specific area, we endeavour to make every effort to accommodate this however we reserve the right to vary your parking location due to ground conditions, safety or operational reasons.
10.7 Any vehicle left on site past the 27th August 2018 will be removed and scrapped. All reasonable efforts will be made by Boomtown to locate the owner and remove the vehicle before this takes place.
10.8 Boomtown accepts no liability for costs incurred in the process of removal and disposal of vehicles. If a vehicle is stored beyond 27th August 2018, to facilitate collection any associated costs will be passed on to the legal owner.
11.1 All bookings for Camp Skylark accommodation and equipment will be handled by Boomtown Festival UK Ltd as the only authorised agent for these bookings.
11.2 Payment is to be made in full in advance at the price advertised at www.boomtownfair.co.uk at the time of booking.
11.3 Only persons with Camp Skylark accommodation may obtain a Camp Skylark resident camping wristband. Any persons found in the Camp Skylark resident area without accommodation will be asked to leave.
11.4 Deposit is the £100 returnable deposit paid at the time of booking. The deposit will be reimbursed to you within 12 working days upon approval from Camp Skylark staff once checkout is complete.
11.5 Festival Entry tickets must be booked separately.
11.6 It is your responsibility to check that the accommodation and equipment provided corresponds to your booking and to notify a member of the Camp Skylark staff if anything is missing / faulty / incorrect at the time of check in. Failure to do so will render you responsible for the total payment of hire.
11.7 Once you have checked into your accommodation, the rental of your Camp Skylark accommodation begins and the Camp Skylark accommodation and equipment will be your sole responsibility. You are responsible for the maintenance and safe custody of your Camp Skylark accommodation and equipment for the duration of the rental period until checking out on the day of departure
11.8 You must vacate your accommodation by 11am on Monday 13th August 2018. Failure to check out by this time may result in the loss of your deposit.
11.9 You will be required to notify Camp Skylark staff when checking out of your accommodation and a member of staff will check your accommodation and any damaged or missing items will be identified. Damage, theft or breakage may result in part or full loss of your deposit or, in the case of serious misuse of equipment, you agree to pay, in full, all replacement or repair costs as set by us or the event.
11.10 You must not use cooking or other gas appliances of any kind inside the tent. You will also not use naked flames inside the tent.
11.11 Neither Camp Skylark or the event will be held responsible for any loss or damages incurred by the use or misuse of the Camp Skylark accommodation you have rented, howsoever caused.
11.12 Neither Camp Skylark or the event will be held responsible in the case of theft of personal items, injury or death.
11.13 Camp Skylark bookings are non-refundable.
12.1 All bookings for Boomtown Springs accommodation and equipment will be handled by Boomtown Festival UK Ltd as the only authorised agent for these bookings.
12.2 Payment is to be made in full in advance at the price advertised at www.boomtownfair.co.uk at the time of booking.
12.3 Only persons with Boomtown Springs accommodation may obtain a Boomtown Springs resident camping wristband. Any persons found in the Boomtown Springs resident area without accommodation will be asked to leave.
12.4 Deposit is the £100 returnable deposit paid at the time of booking accommodation. The deposit will be reimbursed to you within 12 working days upon approval from Boomtown Springs staff once checkout is complete.
12.5 Festival Entry tickets must be booked separately.

12.9 You will be required to notify Boomtown Springs staff when checking out of your accommodation and a member of staff will check your accommodation and any damaged or missing items will be identified. Damage, theft or breakage may result in part or full loss of your deposit or, in the case of serious misuse of equipment, you agree to pay, in full, all replacement or repair costs as set by us or the event.
12.10 You must not use cooking or other gas appliances of any kind inside the tent. You will also not use naked flames inside the tent.
12.11 Neither Boomtown Springs or the event will be held responsible in the case of theft of personal items, injury or death.
12.12 Boomtown Springs bookings are non-refundable.
13.1 Lost and Found property is being managed on site at the Information points. There are two on site; one at Hilltop open 10am until 1am daily and one Downtown which is 24 hours until they both close at 4pm on Monday. Please report all lost items here as soon as you can and check here before leaving site to be reunited with your property if found during the event. All found property should be handed in at these Information Points too.
13.2 After leaving site a Lost Items form will be posted on the Boomtown website to register any lost items. If these have been found you will be contacted to arrange payment for postage to be reunited with your items, with costs starting at £10 per item to cover postage, packaging and recorded delivery.
13.3 Any found items will be kept by Boomtown’s Lost Property contractor (the charity Temwa) until the 27th August 2018. Past this date, all items will be donated to charity or disposed of safely/securely. All reasonable efforts will be made to reunite the lost item with its owner before this takes place.
