Klarna allows you to pay in three monthly instalments, these do not need to be paid in full before you arrive at Boomtown. For detailed information on Klarna, see their website.

To process your ticket through Klarna requires additional administration, so there is a slightly higher ticket cost when you book in this way.

There is no difference in what you receive between phases, we'd recommend purchasing earlier rather than later to be able to get the best price

Ticket plan Refund Protection is available and we strongly recommend that you include this option. Your booking is non-refundable and this will protect you against cancellation resulting from accidents and illnesses, up to a maximum of £5000 per refund application. Full details are included in the TicketPlan terms and conditions, which we advise you read and retain. These can be seen here: Terms & Conditions

Yes, we do! If you feel that you need a PA to help you get the best out of your time at Boomtown, and you have a current middle or higher rate DLA or you receive a PIP then you are eligible for a free PA ticket. Other applications will also be taken on a discretionary case by case basis.  For more information on the facilities we provide and information on how to apply for your free ticket please visit our accessibility page here.

Yes, if you live locally (in and around Winchester) and are interested in coming to Boomtown please email local_community@boomtownfair.co.uk and we will be able to help you.

If you would like to add any items to your booking you can do so by logging into your Kaboodle account here or by reaching out to our team on boomtown@kaboodle.co.uk. Please ensure you are the lead booker and have your booking reference to hand when getting in touch.

Tickets will be sent out closer to the festival date.

Yes, you can change the name on the ticket by contacting Kaboodle at boomtown@kaboodle.co.uk. There is an admin fee charged for changing names.

Note, the name on the ticket must match your ID.

If you wish to change the name on your Coach Travel Ticket, please contact National Express directly on 03 8181 (charged at local rate) or email enquiry@nationalexpress.com. There is an admin fee for making this change.

All booking confirmations are sent to the ticket buyer's email address. If you are the ticket buyer and haven't received your booking confirmation, the most common reason is that you typed in your email address incorrectly on your order. Please contact boomtown@kaboodle.co.uk and they will assist you in finding your booking.

Boomtown is best experienced for the full four or five days! We don’t sell day tickets but you are welcome to arrive at any point throughout the festival (within gate opening times).

Your name on your ticket must also match your ID. Acceptable ID can be either Passport, Driving Licence or ID card bearing the PASS hologram. You can get a Boomtown branded CitizenCard card (not to be confused with Citizenship festival entry tickets) by visiting their website here.

Booking fees pay for the administration, customer and IT support that goes into processing ticket orders and they also pay for the huge amount of infrastructure that is required to set up and operate the wristband exchange and gates on site.

An Eco Bond is added at the point of purchase. This is your bond to the environment aimed to help reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. The Eco Bond is fully refunded on-site in exchange for bringing two full bags of mixed dry waste and sorting it at the Eco Bond hub.

We cannot guarantee entry for any tickets bought from third party services. We’re not affiliated with any of these platforms and you run the risk that ticket owners will change the names again, rendering your ticket useless. Please only purchase tickets from our ticket providers Kaboodle and Ticketmaster.

Please note that if you get to the site and you have purchased a fake ticket OR your ticket does not match your ID, you will not be allowed entry into Boomtown.

As of 2024, Boomtown is an over 18’s event.

You may buy 8 tickets per transaction.

If you miss a payment of one of your instalments you should contact Kaboodle immediately by logging into your account or emailing them at boomtown@kaboodle.co.uk

If you fail to make the payments in accordance with Kaboodle’s terms and conditions of your payment plan then your ticket may be cancelled and you will not be eligible for a refund. This includes all added extras, accomodation and travel tickets.

Yes! You can opt to split the cost of your ticket with a payment plan, select this option at the end of the checkout process.

Yes, you can purchase a Wednesday upgrade by logging into your Kaboodle account.

All Green Transport Citizen tickets, and Citizenship tickets with Wednesday upgrade allow you access to all the public campsites to get set up early. The full city opens from Thursday onwards.

A Citizenship ticket allows you access to all the City and its districts and the 3 main public campsites from Thursday - Sunday.

Wednesday Tickets

Yes, your five day Citizenship ticket will still be valid if your plans change and you choose to arrive on Thursday instead. Please note that if you have a ticket to arrive on Wednesday and wish to now arrive on Thursday, your Wednesday upgrade is non-refundable.

Wednesday entry is FREE for anyone arriving by public transport who has purchased a Green Transport Citizen ticket.

If you have a standard Citizenship ticket, adding a Wednesday upgrade will cost £30.

If you have a Green Transport Citizenship ticket this already has Wednesday entry, so you won’t need to upgrade.

If you want to upgrade a standard entry ticket you will need to log into your account and select the 'Wednesday Upgrade' in the group 'Added Extras'.

You'll have access to all the public campsites from Wednesday as well as several entertainment areas. There will be a reduced amount of entertainment provided on Wednesday. More information will be released in the coming months.

Wednesday is a setup day to allow you to get settled before Boomtown officially starts on Thursday. If you would like to come to Boomtown on the Wednesday set up day, you must purchase a Citizenship Ticket + Wednesday Upgrade: Valid from Wednesday-Sunday (Standard adult 18+).

If you purchase a Green Transport Citizenship ticket, the Wednesday upgrade is already included for free, so you don’t need to add this. Just book your Wednesday travel with the ticket.

You can get in touch with National Express in a number of different ways.

No, you must travel on the coach or shuttle in order for your Citizenship Ticket to be valid upon entry. You will not be permitted entry to the festival if you have booked a Green Transport Citizen ticket and do not travel on the coach or shuttle.

We offer discounted Green Transport Citizen Tickets to coach travellers to encourage public transport. We calculate the size of our car parks based on coach package customers coming by coach. If all of these people were to drive, we would run out of space and the traffic would be horrendous. Please don't do this.

Anyone can buy a shuttle bus ticket on the day from Winchester Train station.

Yep! You can still add on coaches to standard festival entry tickets, find them on the ticket page.

Green Transport Citizen Tickets are festival entry tickets that must be purchased alongside a return coach or shuttle bus ticket. Festival tickets are offered at a reduced price to reward public transport travellers, but you must also buy a coach or shuttle ticket and travel to Boomtown by that transport in order to be validated to receive your wristband on arrival at the festival.

To take advantage of the reduced price festival ticket, simply add a Coach Ticket or Shuttle Ticket to your basket along with the Green Transport Citizen Ticket.
