Venue Applications
Boomtown 2026 - Chapter 5: Radical Redesign
Boomtown is a parallel world where uniquely themed districts come alive with music, theatre, storytelling, and adventure – all in one unforgettable trip.
Boomtown's venues are part of what makes our city so unique, each with a different theme, story, characters and atmosphere. Many also champion underground collectives and scenes that you wouldn't necessarily see on our main stages.
We are looking for new venues which encourage our audience to have fun, be silly, try new realities on for size and become what they've always dreamed of becoming.
Nurturing imagination and allowing space for creative thinking can unlock immense potential for individuals, groups, and society at large.
Do you have a venue pitch for Boomtown 2026?
Please fill out this form by 23:59 on the 9th of November 2025.
Thrutopia Workshop Applications
After an incredible first year; wonderful connections made, inspiring teachings and endless creativity; Thrutopia will be returning and we'd love to hear from you.
The concept of Thrutopia has been inspired by conversations our creative team has had with the inspiring author Manda Scott. Here’s a brief introduction to her teachings on Thrutopias.
Imagine waking up excited for the day because life feels full of possibility. For many people, that kind of joy feels out of reach. We live in a world shaped by stress, fear, and systems that don't work for most people or the planet.
But it hasn't always been this way. Across history, some communities chose to live more fairly, more creatively, and more in harmony with nature. We've just stopped telling those stories.
Now, with climate change and rising inequality, it's clear we need a new direction. And stories are one of the most powerful ways to show what's possible. They help us imagine a future that's better for everyone.
If we want real change, we need stories that inspire it, and anyone can be part of that. It starts with imagining something better.
If you have a workshop idea that resonates with this district, we'd love to hear from you.
The deadline for applications is the Friday 30th January 2026
