Adjusting to the new way of life, one that is filled with uncertainty on a daily basis with COVID-19 lurking behind everything we do, can be quite overwhelming. Whilst we are in no position at this early stage to guarantee that the event will 100% be able to take place next August, what we can guarantee is that we will do all and everything that is within our power to make it happen. 

We are working closely with our fellow festivals and the wider industry, developing guidelines and procedures and taking stock of the vast array of elements that we will need to consider for events to be able to go ahead.

At this stage it is too early to go into great detail over what measures we need to have in place, but we will keep this page updated as our knowledge and understanding of how the 2021 festival season will form, and the challenges that we may face develop over the coming months. 

For now all we can do is focus on what we can prepare and what is within our power to control, which means that if we can go ahead, we know, creatively, musically and atmospherically, it will be an unforgettable show unlike anything we've done before.

FAQs

If Boomtown 2021 is postponed will my ticket still be valid?

Yes, if you have a ticket it will be valid for the next installment of Boomtown, whenever that may be. Please see the T&Cs here for more information. 

If Boomtown 2021 is cancelled due to COVID will I be able to get a refund? 

In the event of Boomtown being cancelled due to COVID, you will be eligible for a refund. You can find the full details on our cancellation policy in clause 1.5A of  our T&Cs

Can I get ticket insurance?

You can take out ticket insurance with Booking Protect. Please note you can only buy this at the point of purchase, unfortunately this is only available for new ticket purchases and cannot be added to previous bookings. Please refer to Booking Protect for full T&Cs.
