The Scissor Sisters are back and they're coming to Boomtown!

Formed by Jake Shears and Babydaddy in the early 2000s (and later joined by Ana Matronic and Del Marquis) Scissor Sisters burst onto the scene with a bold, glam-drenched spin on dance-pop.The band captured hearts with their flamboyant performances and unapologetic creativity.

With roots in the vibrant nightlife of New York, the Scissor Sisters emerged as a colorful and unapologetically joyful force in music. Their early sound celebrated the best of glam, disco, and pop, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase. Their self-titled first album saw enormous success, with singles like “Take Your Mama” and “Filthy/Gorgeous” becoming club and radio staples, showcasing the band’s playful lyrical style and infectious melodies.

Over time, the band continued to evolve, delivering major hits such as “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin” which topped charts across Europe, and “Let’s Have a Kiki" which became a cultural phenomenon in clubs and drag scenes worldwide.

At Chapter Five: Radical Redesign, Boomtown’s all-new Lion’s Den stage will host their triumphant return to UK festival crowds.
