At the 2025 Closing Ceremony, Boomtown’s ruler, The Collector, was freed from the clutches of Mr Biga and Aurora Venturestone. As he handed leadership over to The Network, The Lion’s Gate Portal predicted the return of The Lion’s Den, and utopia was visible on the horizon.

But the future is far from certain…

Whilst The Network begin to redesign Boomtown, Biga and Aurora announce the merger of their two companies BIGACORP™ and BETTERCORP™. The new conglomerate - BBXL™ launch a space programme, declaring Earth a ‘single-use planet’, insisting we leave it behind for “Biga™, Better™ things”.

Despite Biga and Aurora being disgraced last year, swathes of residents continue buying BBXL™ products and joining their exclusive VIP clubs. Meanwhile, the BBXL™ space programme drains the city's resources, polluting its land and water.

Does an underground movement like The Network have what it takes to organise a city? Can they truly return power to the people? Or will a new force need to intervene?
