The Balkan Wanderers

The Balkan Wanderers are a Balkan-inspired punk party band from Oxford. We formed in 2014inspired by Balkan and related artists (e.g. Šaban Bajramović / Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra,Goran Bregović, Xazzar), and Balkan-world punk/ska pioneers (Mano Negra/ Golem/ GogolBordello/ Dubioza kolektiv). We create original East-meets-West songs, often containing a mixtureof languages and styles, and perform traditional Eastern-European folk songs in our own uniquestyle. We reformed in 2022 following a hiatus since 2018, featuring a mix of original and newmembers
