Ren is a Welsh singer-songwriter, rapper and multi-instrumentalist whose genre blending sound fuses alternative, rock, hip-hop and cinematic storytelling. Ren’s work, including the viral nine minute performance piece "Hi Ren", confronts mental and physical health struggles with raw honesty, shaped by over a decade long battle with Lyme Disease. He has released two independent studio albums, Freckled Angels (2016) and Sick Boi (2023), with Sick Boi debuting at number one on the UK Official Albums Chart and cementing his status as one of the UK’s most exciting independent artists. Raised in a small Welsh village, Ren developed his craft busking on the streets of Bristol and Brighton, honing a live presence that’s both electric and deeply human.
