Informed by a deep musicality and masterful technicality, she continues to refine her high-energy mixing style, proudly tracing the tracks between the UK’s rich heritage in rave and beyond. Techie 4x4 rollers and classic acid cuts effortlessly splice with speed garage and hands-in-the-air breakbeats, complimenting the transatlantic sound system sensibilities and perfectly pitched curveballs that have long been a hallmark of her sets.
Special Request
Special Request is the new rugged alias for house and techno stalwart Paul Woolford. Inspired by the unruly conventions of UK pirate radio stations, this project captures the raw energy and diversity of the illegal airwaves and uses this as a springboard of inspiration for a series of heavyweight productions that span from murky house through darkside techno to chaotic eye-of-the-storm hardcore/jungle tear-outs. The end results are incendiary.
