Ekula & Mista Jago

Co-founder of Boomtown’s “Botanica Zoo” micro-venue, Ekula is a London-based producer/DJ working primarily with dubstep, breaks, uk garage and jungle. Ekula has produced with the likes of Daddy Freddy, Deemas J, Ell Murphy, Mista Jago, MC DT, Natty Campbell, N-Type and Sheba Q, having remixed the likes of Mandidextrous and Shai Sevin and been remixed by Benny Ill [Horsepower Productions], Benton and Silkie.Ekula’s productions have featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, 6 Music Recommends, Rinse FM, Fabriclondon.com and more, receiving reviews in DJ Mag and Mixmag.Ekula can be heard monthly on AAJA Music and Subtle Radio.

Mista Jago is a staple voice and face on the UK festival, live venue and underground rave scenes. He currently performs regularly across the UK and abroad, appearing frequently with a host of outfits including jungle legends Chopstick Dubplate, Reggae Roast, Bristol-based bass music crew Kaotik Kartel and underground free party stalwarts Odyssey Sound System.
