Producer / DJ J:Kenzo has. Been at the forefront of bass music since the late 2000’s. Gradually honing his craft, Kenzo became one of the most consistent artists in dubstep from the late 2000s onwards. Renowned as a tastemaker with his monthly residency on BBC 1Xtrato his weekly radio show on Rinse FM and releases on the legendary record label Tempa, J:Kenzo became a key player in dubstep’s international explosion.

As a skilled DJ and producer, Skeptical expresses his passion for music with every beat he creates. From his early days of delving into various genres to his present-day reputation for crafting some of the most powerful yet delicate tracks in drum & bass, Skeptical has become a force to be reckoned with.His career began with the release of his exceptional Blue Eyes EP on Ingredients Records in 2011. Since then, Skeptical has become a household name in the industry with his outstanding releases on prestigious imprints like Metalheadz, Soul:r, and Exit Records. SP:MC has firmly established himself as one of the most respected and prolific MCs in the drum and bass scene over his 20+ years in the game. After his early mixtapes caught the attention of MC GQ in 2001, SP:MC became a staple at key events like Emcee Sessions, and soon after, began touring with notable acts like Friction and dBridge. His collaborations with labels such as Exit Records, Shogun Audio, Metalheadz, Hospital Records, and many others have cemented his place as a go-to voice in the scene. With a career marked by versatility and quality, SP:MC has earned accolades including 'Best MC' at the D&BArena Awards in 2011, alongside multiple nominations throughout the years. His production work has also drawn significant praise, with notable tracks like Shadow with Breakage and Trust Nobody on Tempa. His recent ventures include his own label, Declassified, where he merges UKG and 2-step, and collaborations like Keep Up with Alix Perez and DLR.
