In March 2021, we submitted a brand new Planning Application to the South Downs National Park. The primary purpose of the application is to bring the planning permission capacity in line with our licenced capacity of 75,999 plus 1,000 Sunday tickets for local residents, which was granted by Winchester City Council in July 2019. This will help secure our future at Matterley Estate, to further regulate our temporary presence within the National Park, demonstrate our commitment to the land and allow us to continue to grow as an event that brings great value economically, socially and culturally to the area.
At the time of writing (19th August) the application is still in progress and we are awaiting details for the hearing and as soon as we hear we will update our online community. In the meantime, if you would like to view the Planning Application please click here. You can also view our Planning Application update here. The application reference is SDNP/21/00290/FUL
Our online Roundtable event to discuss the Application with local stakeholders in March was unfortunately cancelled due to a very limited uptake. However, we always welcome any questions from those who live nearby. If you have any further questions, please contact Katie via firstname.lastname@example.org.
