Festival Entry Tickets

Every citizen needs a Festival Entry Ticket in order to enter the festival and you can choose from one of the three options below.  All festival entry tickets include access to all standard campsites, as well as all of the districts and entertainment on offer. 

All prices on this page are not inclusive of booking fees.

Public Transport Saver Festival Entry Tickets

Public Transport Saver Festival tickets are cheaper than standard Festival Entry tickets and include the option to come on Wednesday for no extra cost! 

They can only be purchased with a coach ticket, shuttle bus (from Winchester train station) ticket or the Big Boomtown Bike Ride cycle experience ticket.  Please help us reduce our carbon footprint and consider travelling to the festival in a more sustainable way.  

Public Transport Saver Festival Entry Ticket: (Standard adult 18+)

Tier 1 - £209 (coach & cycle packages only)
Tier 2 - £239 (coach & cycle packages only)
Tier 3 - £249 (coach, cycle & shuttle. Instalment ticket option available*) 

Instalment Plan Ticket:

An Instalment Plan ticket option is available on the Tier 3 Public Saver Festival Entry ticket. There will be a deposit of £40, followed by 3 automatic payments of £70 to be taken on 3rd March, 3rd April, 3rd May.

Don’t forget:

✓ In order to be able to purchase a Public Transport Saver ticket you must also add a coach ticket (starting from £35), shuttle ticket (£10) or cycle experience (£79) to your basket.

✓ Tiers 1 & 2 PTS tickets can only be bought in conjunction with coach tickets and cycle experience tickets - shuttle tickets can be purchased with Tier 3 PTS entry onwards

✓ You must arrive by your chosen mode of transport in order for your ticket to be validated when you get here.

✓ All Public Transport Saver tickets include free optional Wednesday entry. Your choice of Wednesday or Thursday onwards arrival depends on which day you book your transport for

✓ If you don’t want to commit to a  Public Transport Saver ticket now, you can add a coach, shuttle or bike ride to any ticket type at a later date (subject to availability) - however this means you will not be eligible for free Wednesday access or the discount!

Instalment Plan Ticket:

An Instalment Plan ticket option is available on the Tier 4 Festival Entry ticket. There will be a deposit of £55, followed by 3 automatic payments of £70 to be taken on 3rd March, 3rd April, 3rd May. 

Please note: Wednesday entry can be added later as a “Wednesday Arrival Upgrade” for £20.


Festival Entry Ticket + Wednesday Upgrade: Valid from Wednesday-Sunday (Standard adult 18+)

If you would like to extend your stay at Boomtown and come down on the Wednesday Set-Up day to get settled in you campsite, familiarise yourself with the site and get into the vibe before the festival officially opens on Thursday, you can choose the Festival Entry Ticket & Wednesday Entry.

Family, Kids and Teen Festival Entry Tickets

All children and teen tickets are valid from Wednesday - Sunday.  

As always children 12 and under can come completely for free! Just add a free child ticket on to any adult ticket.  

Teen (13-17) Festival Entry Tickets need to be booked in conjunction with an adult who is aged 30 or over. Teen tickets only be added to your order from Wednesday 13th November. More information on how to book your tickets will follow.

  • Teens: 5 Day Festival Entry Ticket (13-17) £209

Everyone with a festival entry ticket is FREE to come and pitch up their own tent in any of our public campsites or if you want to upgrade to a more comfortable experience take a look at some of our pre-bookable campsite options here



The name on your ticket must match the name on your I.D or you will be refused entry at the gate. Upon purchase you can input the name and email of each ticket holder (if you are purchasing multiple tickets!) but don’t worry if you don’t have these to hand. You will have one chance to change it to the correct name within your account on TheTicketSellers later on. 


Live-In Vehicles  

Campervan passes are £100 and can be used for campervans, caravans and trailer tents. All vehicles including towing vehicles must fit within 5m wide x 8m deep pitch. For vehicles over 8m you must book two pitches.  Remember, all members of the party must have a valid Festival Entry ticket. 


Car passes are £26 and must be purchased by the 22nd June. They will be posted out by a ‘signed for’ delivery method around 2 weeks before Boomtown. Make sure you include your preferred delivery address when you make your booking.  If you want to swap your car parking pass type, please contact TheTicketSellers by 19th June and they will be able to change them for you. 

Wednesday Arrival Car Parking Pass: is valid from Wednesday onwards. Each person in the vehicle must have a valid Festival Entry Ticket.

Standard Car Parking Pass is valid from Thursday

All below car passes are valid from Wednesday onwards:

    • Family Camping Parking Pass - only for families camping in the family campsite.
    • The Meadow Parking Pass - for people accessibility needs camping in The Meadow
    • Specific Parking Passes for pre-booked campsite will be released at a later date.

    Ticket FAQ's


    A festival entry ticket allows you access to all the districts and public campsites from Wednesday - Sunday. Boomtown is not an arena festival so none of these areas are segregated!

    The only difference between the tier tickets is the price. When you arrive each festival entry ticket gives you exactly the same access to all areas and experiences within the festival. 

    You can buy FOUR tickets per transaction. 

    As stated by the age policy on our terms and conditions: Only persons aged 18 or over on their first day of attending Boomtown Festival may enter the festival using an Adult ticket. 

    Any person under the age of 18 who has purchased an Adult ticket rather than a Teen ticket will be refused entry into the festival. Tickets are non-refundable.

    Yes, if you choose to come with a teen ticket you must be under the care of a parent or guardian aged 30+

    You will need photographic ID for entrance to the venue. Anything with PASS hologram on will be suitable. We won’t be able to accept photocopies or out of date documentation. 

    (i) A passport

    (ii) A European Union photocard driving licence

    (iii) A Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)

    (iv) A photographic identity card bearing the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) hologram

    (v) A national identity card issued by a European Union member state (other than the United Kingdom), Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland, or

    (vi) A Biometric Immigration Document.

    No. Tickets are non-refundable. Sometimes, if all the tickets sell out then we will offer the opportunity to buy a ticket securely in the resale. We will let you know if this is the case as soon as possible via our social channels and newsletter. 

    Booking fees pay for the administration, customer and IT support that goes into processing ticket orders and they also pay for the huge amount of infrastructure that is required to set up and operate the wristband exchange and gates on site.

    A £10 Eco Bond will be added at the point of purchase. This can be redeemed in cash on site.

    Boomtown is best experienced for the full four or five days! ;) We don’t sell day tickets but you are welcome to arrive at any point through the festival (within gate opening times)

    All booking confirmations are sent to the ticket buyer's email address. If you are the ticket buyer and haven't received your booking confirmation, the most common reason is that you typed in your email address incorrectly on your order. Please contact or 0121 472 6688 and they will assist you in finding your booking.

    Tickets will be emailed out to you in June.

    We have a huge range of pre-bookable campsites to suit all budgets, from basic tents to luxurious canvas homes with a huge range of added extras and facilities. All details & tickets for this for Chapter 12 is coming on December 6th!!

    If you would like to come to Boomtown on the Wednesday set up day, you must purchase a Festival Entry Ticket + Wednesday Entry: Valid from Wednesday-Sunday (Standard adult 18+).  

    This ticket includes Wednesday is a setup day to allow you to get settled before Boomtown officially starts on Thursday. 

    Festival Entry Ticket + Wednesday Entry ticket allows you access to all the public campsites from Wednesday as well as several entertainment areas. There will be limited entertainment provided and more information will follow on this nearer the time.

    Wednesday entry is FREE for anyone arriving by public transport who has purchased a public transport saver ticket. There is a £20 add on for anyone arriving by car. 

    Yes, you need to purchase a Wednesday Entry Upgrade ticket via our ticket site. 


    Yes, we do! If you feel that you need a PA to help you get the best out of your time at Boomtown, and you have a current middle or higher rate DLA or you receive a PIP then you are eligible for a free PA ticket.
