Never, in our wildest dreams did we imagine members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy & Cypress Hill together at Boomtown!!!
Are you joining us for our brand new Wednesday warm up party this year?? Don’t forget to book your add-on ticket!
If you’re coming by public transport...
Anyone travelling by public transport can join the warm up celebrations for freee!
If you’re on a coach all you have to do is add the free coach traveller add onto your ticket, via TheTicketSellers (NOT via National Express!)… If you’ve already booked your coach you’ll be prompted to choose your new arrival time on the next page, if you haven’t, then just pick one from the selection.
Please note we’ve sold out of Wednesday shuttle passes for those coming via train.
If you’re coming by car...
A limited number of drivers are also able to get Wednesday tickets, each passenger needs the (£40) Wednesday add on. If you’ve already got a Thursday car pass then email us on email@example.com and we’ll send you a swap pass to use in conjunction with your existing car pass - if not then you can purchase one on the door.
If you’re in Boomtown Springs...
Wednesday entry is included in your ticket! If you’re driving you’ll still need a car pass as well but the car share rule does not apply. Car passes are £40 upon arrival unless you've already bought yours!
Unfortunately Brushy One String is unable to join us due to visa issues... But we're lucky to have been able to get another of the world's greatest one string instrument virtuosos, all the way from Malawi - Gasper Nali!
This is a trial year, so we’re only able to open a part of the site on Wednesday, which includes the West side Downtown near the public transport gate and Hidden Woods. If you have booked accommodation on the other side of site, this will not be accessible until Thursday morning - but you are welcome to pitch up and move on Thursday.
Wednesday Entry FAQ’s
I’ve changed my coach but haven’t been sent my new Wednesday coach times, what should I do?
National Express are sending the updated tickets out gradually, you should receive it within one week of the festival. You can login on National Express to check your current ticket here: socsi.in/fnjYm or call them on 03717 818181.
Me and all my passengers have got our paid for add ons but we don’t have a car pass yet! What do we do?
You can still buy one on the door! The deadline to purchase online was in place in order to give TheTicketSellers enough time to post all of the passes out. They’ll be £40.
I’ve decided to come on Wednesday but I’ve already bought my car pass and it’s only valid from Thursday! What do I do?
Don’t worry! Just email us on info@boomtownfair and we’ll be able to issue you a swap pass to use in conjunction with your existing car pass.
We’ve booked a campervan pass, Camp Skylark, Reserved Camping, Tangerine Fields East, The Meadow or Family Camping - why won’t these areas be open?
We understand your frustration! Unfortunately as this is such a limited trial year - license and planning permissions meant that this was the only way that we could facilitate it this year. Please bear in mind it is only a warm up day.
Can I come if I’m cycling? It’s eco friendly!
Yep! There is a cycle park at West Gate & you can come for freeee! Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll arrange.
I want to get dropped off, can I?
Nope. There is no drop off point on Wednesday. However if you have booked a minibus from 12 seats + you can use our private hire coaches system to book yourself a slot AND get a free Wednesday entry ticket - email email@example.com with the subject line ‘Wednesday Private Hire’ and we’ll arrange this for you.
We can also make exceptions if you’re coming from somewhere very local - please email firstname.lastname@example.org
