Never, in our wildest dreams did we imagine members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy & Cypress Hill together at Boomtown!!!
Don’t forget your ID…!
Valid ID ✔
Festival season is finally on the horizon and we’re working with CitizenCard again this year to bring you an all singing and dancing Boomtown proof of age ID card that makes getting into the festival and proving that you are 18 or older pretty simple!
As always, to enter the City you will need to provide ID that matches the name on your ticket. We’ve got our ID checking teams working at every gate who will be operating a Challenge 25 policy. So, if you happen to look under 25, you WILL need to prove your age with a valid form of photo ID.
ID checking will be very strict, not only on the gates but on the bars across site too. Acceptable forms of ID include; photographic driving license, passport or proof of age card with PASS hologram - photocopies will not be accepted!
However, CitizenCard are once again giving all Boomtown attendees a discount on their widely accepted, Boomtown branded, proof of age cards! So, considering hundreds of passports and driving licenses end up in lost property every year, why not leave your valuable documents at home and sleep easy that you’ve got it covered?
Head over to their Boomtown landing page for more details: and use the code BOOMTOWN when you apply to get your £5 discount! It takes a few weeks for your application to be processed so please apply for your card ASAP.
Underage Ticket Amnesty
Please be aware that if you have an adult ticket and are unable to prove you are aged 18 or over you will be refused entry to the festival and your ticket will be invalidated for future use.
However - if you have already purchased an adult ticket, but you’re not going to be 18 by the festival we are giving you a chance to get a refund and offering an amnesty on these tickets. Please email TheTicketSellers on email@example.com and they’ll process this for you.
If you try to gain entry to the festival under the age of 18 with an adult ticket you will be refused and no refund will be offered. Don’t risk it.
All teenage ticket holders (13-17) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 30+ and will not be permitted entry without them. For full details on age policy and ID requirements please see our T&Cs.
