It is our absolute dream for everyone to be treated equally when inside our city gates and in the everyday world, to be accepted for who they are and with the ultimate mutual respect that each every person deserves.
More can always be done to make everyone feel as comfortable and safe as the next person and this year we teamed up with Safe Gigs For Women after working with the White Ribbon in 2016, who, along with many of our fellow independent festivals, are determined to stamp out sexual harassment at music festivals, live events, in the workplace and in general.
No one should ever be made to feel as if they don't have a voice or a right to say no. We all need to pull together to call out this behaviour and ensure it is seen as inherantly wrong. Please be sure to look out for each other and speak up if you see or hear anything you're not comfortable with.
