Relive more incredible moments from around the city last month... ✨
Since the disappearance of the Masked Man, Boomtown's huge nuclear facility, Sector 6, has been in a state operational shutdown with no sign of life... However, there have been recent reported sightings of (alleged) Bang Hai Industry officials scoping out the toxic turbines and sealing off 'damaged' areas for 'public safety'...
Outside the district boundary is a completely different story, with huge campsites overlooking a derelict complex, allowing those who choose to live in the area the ability to take in this breath taking spectacle while keeping a safe distance...
Shy FX and his extensive knowledge of drum & bass solidified his legendary status after playing to a 20,000 strong crowd in 2015; a set that's gone down as one of the best sets in Boomtown history. BBC Radio 1Xtra resident Toddla T will no doubt bring the freshest riddims for a set full of the best in dancehall, jungle and grime. Killbox will be appearing as new collective made up of Ed Rush and Audio to shell out some body slamming bass. Critical Sound bad boys Mefjus and Emperor are B2B after dominating Bang Hai last year, and true to takeover tradition, Shogun Audio will have the whole stage to themselves for Friction, Icicle live, Spectrasoul, Rockwell, Technimatic, Joe Ford, Fourward to blow the mind of all in attendance with pure unadulterated drum and bass.
Festival favourites and Wonka-Vision head honchos Wonka and Syn will be mashing up the forest with a big bad selection of weighty bassy bangers along with Sly One, Bromley, Distro, Archive, Darkzy and Lazcru.
