NAMES ON TICKETS
The name on your ticket must match the name on your I.D or you will be refused entry at the gate.
Upon purchase you can input the name and email of each ticket holder (if you are purchasing multiple tickets!) but don’t worry if you don’t have these to hand. You will have one chance to change it to the correct name within your account on the ticket sellers later on.
Wednesday opening is back, giving a limited number of citizens the opportunity to set up a day earlier and to ease into the Boomtown experience.
- It’s FREE for anyone with a Public Transport Saver ticket - in order to claim you must just book a Wednesday arrival transport option (coach, shuttle, cycle experience).
- It’s FREE if you’re a Boomtown Springs resident.
- If you are arriving by car it’s £20 per person - this price is either included in Standard Wednesday entry ticket or available to add on later. To cut down on carbon emissions and local traffic all cars must have 3+ passengers for Wednesday arrival.
- If you have a campervan pass it is £20 per person but you don’t need 3+ people. If you’re not in a campervan but believe you should be exempt from the car share rule, email us on email@example.com and we’ll look into it for you.
Please note: Campervan East and Camp Skylark will open from Thursday onwards.
This year we are introducing brand new instalment tickets which are available for all festival entry tickets!

The only difference between the tiers is the price. All Adult Festival Entry Tickets on all tiers allow the same access to all general public spaces and campsites throughout the site.
A festival entry ticket allows you access to all the districts and public campsites - Boomtown is not an arena festival so none of these areas are segregated!
You can only access Boomtown Springs, Camp Skylark and reserved camping if you have purchased the relevant add ons.
Booking fees pay for the administration, customer and IT support that goes into processing ticket orders and they also pay for the huge amount of infrastructure that is required to set up and operate the wristband exchange and gates on site.
Sorry, we don't sell day tickets. We think Boomtown is best when you immerse yourself in it for a full weekend! You can of course arrive and leave on whichever day you choose.
All booking confirmations are sent to the ticket buyer's email address. If you are the ticket buyer and haven't received your booking confirmation, the most common reason is that you typed in your email address incorrectly on your order.

Public Transport Saver Tickets
Public Transport Saver Tickets are combined Festival Entry Ticket AND Return Coach, Shuttle or CycleTickets. Festival Tickets are offered at a reduced price to reward public transport travellers, but you must also buy a coach, shuttle or ‘Cycle to Boomtown’ ticket and travel to Boomtown by that transport in order to be validated to receive your wristband on arrival at the festival.
To take advantage of the reduced price festival ticket, simply add a Coach Ticket, Shuttle Ticket or Cycle to Boomtown Package to your basket along with the Public Transport Saver Ticket.
Yep! You can still add on coaches to standard festival entry tickets, find them on the ticket page.
Anyone can buy a shuttle bus ticket on the day for £10 return from Winchester Train station.
No, you must travel on the coach or shuttle in order to be validated to receive your Festival Entry Ticket. You will not be permitted entry to the festival if you have booked a Public Transport Saver ticket and do not travel on the coach or shuttle.
We offer discounted Public Transport Saver Tickets to coach travellers to encourage public transport. We calculate the size of our car parks based on coach package customers coming by coach. If all of these people were to drive, we would run out of space and the traffic would be horrendous. Please don't do this.
All coaches arrive at Boomtown on Wednesday 7th & 8th August and depart on Monday 12th August.
Specific arrival and departure times will be confirmed on your Travel Ticket which you will receive from National Express within 6 weeks of booking. If you are not happy with the time allocated to you, you will be able to contact National Express on 03 8181 (charged at local rate) or email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an alternative.
Confirmation of booking will be emailed to the Ticket Buyer immediately after completing the booking. This is not your Travel Ticket, but confirmation of your booking. Your Public Transport Saver Ticket will be emailed to the Ticket Buyer from our coach operator, National Express, within 6 weeks of purchase.
If you have not received your Travel Ticket and 6 weeks have passed since purchase, please contact TheTicketSellers on email@example.com or 0121 472 6688 so they can locate your booking and ensure the correct information has been passed to National Express.
The above information applies whether you have booked a Coach Only ticket or a Public Transport Saver Ticket via the Boomtown/Ticket Sellers website (Festival Ticket + Coach Travel).
If you have booked a shuttle ticket you receive an e-ticket which is exchanged when you get on the Shuttle Bus at Winchester Station. This will be emailed to you with your entry tickets in June.
