Boomtown 2019 Ticket FAQ's

Where can I go with a festival entry ticket?

A festival entry ticket allows you access to all the districts and public campsites - Boomtown is not an arena festival so none of these areas are segregated!

You can only access Boomtown Springs, Camp Skylark and reserved camping if you have purchased the relevant add ons.

What’s the difference between each tier?

The only difference between the tier tickets is the price. When you arrive each standard festival entry ticket gives you exactly the same access to all areas and experiences within the festival.

Can I get a refund if I don’t want to go anymore?

No. Tickets are non-refundable. Sometimes, if all the tickets sell out then we will offer the opportunity to buy a ticket securely in the resale. We will let you know if this is the case as soon as possible via our social channels and newsletter.

What’s the deal with Wednesday opening?

Wednesday is a set up day to allow you to get settled before Boomtown officially starts on Thursday.

Please note that the East campervan field and Camp Skylark will be open from Thursday onwards.

How much does Wednesday entry cost?

Wednesday entry is FREE for anyone arriving by public transport or staying in Boomtown Springs.

There is a £20 add on for anyone arriving by car. Anyone not in Boomtown Springs and coming by car must be car sharing with at least 3 people.

I’ve found a ticket on a third party seller or exchange service and the seller has agreed to change the name, is that alright?

No! We cannot guarantee entry for any tickets bought from third party services. We’re not affiliated with any of these platforms and you run the risk that ticket owners will change the names again, rendering your ticket useless. Please only purchase tickets from TheTicketSellers.  Please note that if you get to site and you have purchased a fake ticket, OR your ticket does not match your ID, you will not be allowed entry into Boomtown.

Why do you charge booking fees?

Booking fees pay for the administration, customer and IT support that goes into processing ticket orders and they also pay for the huge amount of infrastructure that is required to set up and operate the wristband exchange and gates on site.

Do you sell day tickets?

Boomtown is best experienced for the full four days! ;) We don’t sell day tickets but you are welcome to arrive at any point through the festival (within gate opening times)

I haven't received my booking confirmation and/or E-ticket, what do I do?

All booking confirmations are sent to the ticket buyer's email address. If you are the ticket buyer and haven't received your booking confirmation, the most common reason is that you typed in your email address incorrectly on your order. Please contact or 0121 472 6688 and they will assist you in finding your booking.

When will I receive my ticket?

Tickets will be emailed out to you in June :)

Are there tickets available for locals?

Yes, if you live locally and are interested in coming to Boomtown please email and we will be able to help you.

Do you offer free PA tickets?

Yes we do! If you feel that you need a PA to help you get the best out of your time at Boomtown, and you have a current middle or higher rate DLA or you receive a PIP  then you are eligible for a free PA ticket - other applications will also be taken on a discretionary case by case basis. For more information on the facilities we provide and information on how to apply for your free ticket please visit our accessibility page here.

How old do you need to be for an adult ticket?

As stated by the age policy on our terms and conditions: Only persons aged 18 or over on their first day of attending Boomtown Festival (Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th August 2018) may enter the festival using an Adult ticket. Any person under the age of 18 who has purchased an Adult ticket rather than a Teen ticket will be refused entry into the festival.

If you choose to come with a teen ticket you must be under the care of a parent or guardian aged 30+.

Your name on your ticket must also match your ID. Acceptable ID can be either Passport, Driving Licence or ID card bearing the PASS hologram. You can get a Boomtown branded CitizenCard PASS card by visiting their website here.  Use the code BOOMTOWN at the checkout to get a £5 discount.
