Facilities

We know that planning to come to Boomtown can be a major task so we have compiled a rundown of all the facilities you can find on site.

Drinking water

Free drinking water points are situated throughout the whole city, including all Campsites.  Please remember to bring your own water bottle to help reduce waste! We no longer sell any plastic water bottles and please note you can only purchase water in cans from a few traders.  These points will be highlighted on the map released closer to the festival.

Cold Showers

New for 2021 there will be free open cold communal showers available for everyone situated in each campsite.

Hot Showers & flushing toilets

Hot showers are available to all citizens who have a Camp Orchid wristband or are staying in Camp Skylark. For more info on Camp Orchid visit out Sleeping page here.

Composting Toilets

We have composting toilets across the city and in each campsite. 

Campsites

Bars

You will find a variety of bars across the city serving both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. All bars operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy.  

Food

There is a wide range of food traders offering a huge variety of delicious cuisines from across the globe. We will release a guide to which of these offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and options for other dietary requirements nearer the time. 

Festival Shops:

All info on which festival shops, market stalls, camping shops as well as Boomtown Merchandise will follow in the coming months. You can purchase previous year’s merch from the Boomtown shop here now!

Lockers

Lockers are available on site. They come with a USB socket that is suitable for smartphones and ipads and tablets. CCTV cameras monitor the lockers and entry/exit areas 247 and you can only enter through the turnstiles using your fingerprint and you then use a key to open your locker. Further info on locations will follow. 

Phone Charging

On site you have the choice between hiring a portable charger or drop and return. These are also available in each campsite hub, available to purchase onsite or in advance here.

Seating / Chill out areas

Seated chill out areas are available across the festival site. 

Information Points

Located in each campsite and one in the city, the Info Points are available to answer any query you may have and have all the update to date info on site. They are alway accompanied by security and stewards. 

Campsite Hubs 

The guardians of the campsites and communal spaces are on hand 24hr a day in each Campsite Village staffed by many friendly faces ready to help out. The campsites will be kept up to date with live information on site and tips on campsite safety. 

Lost and Found Points

If you lose anything over your stay, head down to our Info Points which can be found in each Campsite Village. Here the lost and found folk will work tirelessly to help reunite you with your belongings. 

Welfare tents

Welfare tents are on site to provide some peace if you need to take a moment. Locations are confirmed on the Boomtown Map. For more information visit our Medical and Welfare page here

Medical Tent

A fully equipped hospital medical centre is operational 24 hours a day.  For more information visit our Medical and Welfare page here. 

Cash points:

There are cash machines located across the site. Please be aware there may be a charge for transactions. All will be marked on the map.
