Scenic Painters

We are looking for several scenic painters for work  in Bristol in late winter / spring followed by the on site install and strike Mid July -  Mid August. Exact dates tbc.

Successful applicants will:

  • Be experienced and skilled scenic painters
  • Be confirmable climbing or working in MEWPs
  • Ideally you would have your own harness with tails
  • Be available to live and work on the festival site for 3 to 4 weeks from mid July 2019
  • Any plant or MEWP tickets are a plus

Carpenters 

Boomtown Fair is looking for set carpenters for 2019. Successful applicants will:

  • Be experienced at set build carpentry
  • Be comfortable climbing
  • Have your own harness with tails
  • Have your own rattle gun with spare batteries and possibly a few other tools
  • Be available to live and work on the festival site for 4 to 6 weeks from mid July 2019.
  • Any plant or MEWP tickets are a plus.

General Jobs

Production

We are looking for several skilled production crew for the on site install and strike Mid July - Mid August. Exact dates tbc.

Successful applicants will:

  • Be experienced festival production / site / build crew
  • Have your own PPE and basic tools: Rattle gun / cordless drill and 17/19 podger and a multitool will be essential
  • Be confirmable climbing or working in MEWPs
  • Be available to live and work on the festival site for 3 to 4 weeks from mid July 2019
  • Plant or MEWP tickets, knowledge of rigging, site electrics desirable but not essential
