Hot Cakes Takeover Hosted by Navigator Feat. Fish & Jurassik

With over thirty years of musical experience, Navigator is a one-man whirlwind of onstage energy, and a totem of wisdom and conscious positivity. His incomparable mastery of street language, tone, projection and delivery makes for an incomparable flow of raggamuffin lyricism that's custom-honed to keep the dancehall under heavy manners.

A father figure to a generation of junglists worldwide, Navigator's journey connects dots through the past, present and future of UK soundsystem culture, from Fatman Hifi, Unity Hi Power and Kool FM to Roast, Jungle Fever, AWOL, Jungle Mania and One In The Jungle on Radio 1. He has worked with a cavalcade of legendary acts, from D*Note to Asian Dub Foundation, Freestylers and Qemists.

London producer, DJ and promoter Jurassik combines jungle, garage and breakbeat flavours into the rich matrix of roughneck riddim that is UK bass music in 2019. This badman student of the dancehall has cooked up material on critically-acclaimed labels such as Deekline's celebrated Hot Cakes imprint, as well as Hot Cakes Bass and many more.

He also finds time to run the popular Hot Cakes and Jungle Cakes club nights across the country.

Fish is part of a new breed of underground producers blasting out of the UK underground with fresh rudeboy riddims of the highest order.

Based out of the UK bass mecca of Bristol, his production pays homage to bass culture’s illustrious foundations, whilst delivering something altogether fresh to create his own unique take on high-energy dance music.
