On the March 6 the new Chef’Special album Unfold will be released. This is the successor of Amigo, which reached a platinum status in the Netherlands and gathered over 62 million streams worldwide.
For the ten-track album Unfold, produced by guitarist Guido Joseph, Chef’Special returned to their home base in Haarlem (The Netherland). Self-acceptance is the theme, looking ahead and connecting with others are the mottos for this album. The single Trouble is exemplary for that direction; a catchy sound, with true band vibes and serious thought-provoking lyrics for those who listen well.
Chef’Special about the album: “During the process of creating this new album we tried to stay as true to ourselves as possible. By also producing this album ourselves we managed to make this a very personal album, both lyrically and musically. We are very proud of the result, and we feel like we managed to challenge ourselves and explore new paths.
Whether Chef’Special is touring America as support act of Twenty One Pilots, performing on the main stage at festivals like Pinkpop, Sziget or Lowlands, or in huge sold-out venues like the Ziggo Dome (16.000 cap) in Amsterdam; they always convince the whole audience and turn every show in a party. The tour to promote Unfold will bring the band to Germany, Austria,

The single Amigo reached the Golden status in their home country, Nicotine got to Platinum and In Your Arms even reached the Triple Platinum status. In Your Arms was in the Dutch single chart for over a year and, together with the other Chef’Special hit songs, still reaching millions of streams each month.
