He is something that is a multicultural mix. He calls himself a Britishtaanee a Jamaicanstaanee a Africanstaanee and naturally a world citizen. Babar was born in Pakistan (Quetta) and came to the UK when he was 8 years of age, raised by a single mother of devout Muslim faith and educated principles. He fell in love with all forms of music from his teenage years. Growing up in poor working class area Canning Town/east end of London he chose to mix with and was taken under the wing of Africans, Jamaicans and white working class communities and traveller communities. He was a bassist-songwriter/shouter the mighty King Prawn from 1992-2002. In his time with King Prawn they recorded 4 albums, 7 eps, 2 videos and 1 live DVD.

Since those years, Babar has established himself as a solo artist.  Having released 15 albums in a variety of guises, there are twelve releases of Babar Luck music/and his wide variety of bands on Bandcamp.com.
