CAR SHARE SCHEMES

At BoomTown we are keen to reduce the environmental effect of the festival, so if you are driving we would encourage you to bring a full car of people to minimise the effect on the environment whilst getting some money for fuel from your new car guests and making some festival friends. Sign up with one of our car sharing partners.

Life’s a journey – share it!

goCarShare was so successful in 2013 - with BoomTown Fair being the most popular festival for the scheme (go people!!) we have partnered up with them for 2014 too!

Log your journey with our pals at goCarShare here and we’ll put you in the draw for free tickets next year to say thanks for being green!

You can also sign up with BlaBlaCar - if you are driving, click here.  If you need a ride, click here.

CYCLING

We fully encourage cycling to BoomTown!! Not only will you be helping the environment you will be saving yourself some cash and keeping fit so everyone is a winner! There will be a designated area for parking up your bike in.  We do just remind you that although this will be close to a security point bikes are left at owners risk. Bikes are a great way to get around as well as to the festival site (when it's not too busy - please cycle responsibly, sober and with the safety of pedestrians in mind). We love the idea of people pimping their rides and decorating their bikes for the festivities, so feel free to have some fun and go wild to ensure you have the funkiest ride in town!

‘Roll Up on Bikes’ are now taking the reins on this so why not join them for the trip?

‘Roll Up on Bikes’ are a collective of trained cycle leaders, and are offering a 2 day led ride from Bristol. You can forget about carrying your bags or getting lost, as these folks will do all that for you (except for getting lost!). This is no ordinary cycle ride; it is a party on wheels with a sound system and a stopover party! More info is coming soon.
