Last year the tagging of scenery, portaloos and other objects cost Boomtown enough of your ticket money to book a headline act or build a whole new street.
We want you to help us send a message out to the taggers to leave their spray cans and marker pens at home, and have some respect for the town so we have more money left to spend on creating the maddest party ever!!!
Next year anyone caught tagging will be kicked out and banned from future festivals and anyone found in possession of spray paint or marker pens will be refused entry to the site.
We are not judging your artwork - we are just asking you not to do it at the festival - keep street art on the real streets!
The winner of the facebook Boomtown anti-tagging slogan competition will be announced shortly.
