In every town there's a place like this. When times are hard, (and times are hard), other places come and go but places like this will always be there; why? Because people NEED them to be there. In the shadows. Glowing. Lurking.
The preacher man (goddamn him!) warns us against it, the magistrate (a curse upon his house!) forbids it, even the doctor (a pox upon him!) says "beware!
We never said its a nice place! Not unless you think the sick, depraved weirdness that includes pole dancing ferrets is "nice"!, Not unless you enjoy the depraved spectacle of badgers being forced to race in some nightmare gambling den, with highly unreputable ladies leading the poker tables and actively encouraging the roulette, while psychotic siamese twins psychoanalyse the roadkill cabaret, as they dodge human carrier pigeons released by some mad butler! Not unless you think lascivious, uninhibited dancing to mind scrambling beats, breaks and bleeps is "nice"! "It's not "nice!
