There is good reason why this 8-piece have been praised to the skies by David Rodigan and DJ Derek; Tracks like Looking to the Sky and Takeover are their own celebration of reggaemusic. They are soon to release a new video and single, ‘Cherokee Warrior’ in the new year, following on from the Success of their Rodigan Championed single ‘Takeover’, which clockedup way over 10,000 views on Youtube in its first few months of release. Their music receives air-play on BBC Radio 1 & 2, BBC London, Kiss FM, NME Radio and the Red Bull Podcasts.

Live, The Drop offer up to the needs of not only the bass music rave generation, but also provide infectious melodies, catchy choruses and conscious lyrics for those with a keen earfor melody and song-craftsmanship.

The 8 piece offer an explosive performance venturing through a variety of reggae sounds from upfront dancehall tracks, through more traditional rock steady and lovers tracks to the Deepest and heaviest Dub. Their set will take on a journey from the streets of London to the fields of the West Country.
