Drink
If you intend to bring alcohol to Boomtown then you will only be allowed to bring a reasonable quantity for personal consumption into the site.
You can bring up to 16 cans or a box of wine or 3 litres of cider/larger/ beer/wine (decanted into plastic bottles). Spirits are not allowed. You can bring this with you on arrival to the festival only.
The licence states that no glass is permitted to be brought onsite for safety reasons so all drink, including non alcoholic drinks and water, will have to be in plastic containers.
When consuming alcohol you should drink responsibly. Make sure you stay within your limits and keep a look out for your friends drinking responsibly too!
Drink and drugs can be a lethal cocktail. So drink responsibly and don’t do drugs!
Make sure you are able to remember having a good Boomtown and recall where you went and what you did!
Make sure you have plenty of water to hand. In hot weather and during hard partying you will need to consume lots of water to stop yourself from the symptoms of dehydration.
And finally, don’t drink and drive! Anyone who has to drive should stay free of alcohol for 24hours before the journey home.
