Boomtown Fair is held at the Matterley Estate near Winchester, Hampshire. SO21 1HW. (UK)

This year we have teamed up with a NEW coach company, Big Green Coach, to offer you some incredible deals on coach travel.

In addition to slashing the price of coach seats through our new partnership, we are also offering reduced price Festival Entry Tickets for all BGC travellers. Just head over to our ticket website, select a Coach Ticket from one of 55 pick up locations and then select a Coach Traveller Festival Entry Ticket. Coach Traveller tickets are a whopping £25 less than standard tickets!!

For all those with festival tickets, coach tickets can also be bought separately here!

Please note: Big Green Coach are the only official coach operator authorised to drop off inside the festival coach park, ensuring that all BGC travellers start their Boomtown journey as close to the action as possible.

The Boombus shuttle service runs from Winchester train station directly to site from Thursday 10th August - Monday 14th August for only £5 each way.

Timetables will be announced closer to the event.

This year we are working with, so that you can easily find the cheapest rail tickets to the festival.

From 22 May you will be able to visit the Trainsplit website to search for the best split ticket options - which can sometimes work out 50% cheaper than direct tickets that you would book on trainline. You can find out more about this service by clicking on the document at the bottom of the page. (note, the service opens 12 weeks before the festival).

Anyone planning on travelling via train from London Waterloo should take note that there will be station upgrades taking place over the dates of the festival. See here for more information.

Back for the third year, On Tours are offering combined Festival Entry Ticket & Return Coach Packages from France and Switzerland. Choose from five departure locations including Paris, Lyon, Lille, Dijon and Geneva. Click here for more information.

UPDATE: Coaches from Switzerland are now sold out.

If you and your friends are booking your own coach or minibus (15 seats or above) please note these important changes to the system for 2017:

Our coach parking facility has moved to the West side of the site this year. This will make it closer to the major road network, which should reduce the time spent in traffic queues, however space on this side of site is more restricted so we’ve put a booking system in place to ensure we have the room we need for any private hire coaches to drop off and collect.

You’ll need to book a slot in advance. It costs £50 per vehicle (this covers both drop off and collection on Monday). Please contact and we’ll send you details of how to book and opening times.

We’ve teamed up with the people from GoCarShare to encourge people to share their cars or get a lift down to Boomtown, making new friends and cutting down on carbon emissions.

GoCarShare links drivers up with potential passengers and vice versa so head over here to find a lift or a driver, slash congestion and leave no car space wasted!

Please be aware there are several car parks around site and are allocated depending on where people are travelling from and how full the car parks are.

Please always follow directions from stewards and the routing passes to ensure that we can keep traffic moving and make sure everyone can get home as easily as possible after the festival.

Designated car parks are available for Boomtique Residents, attendees with children who are camping in Family Camping, as well as those in Quiet Camping and for attendees with accessibility needs who have booked a space in the Meadow Campsite.
