Wild West

Eskorzo's sound represents a crossroads between Latin America and Africa, rock, cumbia, voodoo, drum & bass, afrobeat, jazz, Balkan music and rocksteady, amongst other elements.

Formed in 1996, Eskorzo are still doing what they love: enjoying life on the road, racking up miles, and looking ahead whilst making the most of the present. These precursors of fusion—which has now become widespread—have helped inspire many others who followed thanks to their open vision of music that has allowed them to include collaborations with Coque Malla and Celso Piña in Camino de Fuego.

Although it is a challenge to calculate the total, the band has played more than 1,000 performances throughout its existence. Five studio albums, two EPs, one CD-DVD, thousands of downloads and over 50,000 discs sold sum up Eskorzo's track record since the start of their passion for fusion. From Granada to as far as they can go, with the humbleness of people willing to give everything.
